Report: bin Laden injured in attack on Spanish troops

Could the rumor that Osama bin Laden has been injured by Spanish troops be true? I'm not putting money on it, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

Even though you've stopped returning my e-mails, I still have a crush on you. And despite the fact that you haven't linked one of my posts in at least a month, that doesn't mean we still can't be friends. I have a loud voice, so the 100 ft. required in the restraining order shouldn't really be an impedement from us talking on the street.

Zarqawi claims Jordan attack, now officially out of beheading business

Zarqawi has now claimed the recent botched attack in Jordan. Does this mean he's out of the beheading business for good? Which is odd, you know, because I was always taught to stick to what you're good at. Apparently it's much easier to cut the head off a hog tied infidel than it is to point a rocket at a ginormous U.S. warship.

First Day of Classes Blues

Classes start for me in 10 minutes. I wore shorts today in the hopes of getting a feel for what students are saying about me. I'll just sit in the back of the class for a few minutes and listen to the buzz. If the students say I'm easy, I know I'm not doing my job. If they whine, bitch, and moan I have succeeded.

Server Trouble again

Hey all. Yes, the mu.nu server is down and out for today (AGAIN). If you've found me here then you truly are a friend of the Jawa!

Does any one know how to fix the blogger template? I used to blog here, and the template looked fine, but now whenever I come to the backup site it looks totally screwy.

UPDATE: Oh the horrors of haloscan!! The best feature that MT has to offer, and I mean the best, is automatic trackback pinging.

Our allies in the Global War on Terror have reduced the jail sentence of Abu Bakar Bashir (Ba'asyir), the mastermind of the Bali nightclub bombing, by 4.5 months. Bashir, it will be recalled, had been sentenced to 30 months in an Indonesian prison for his role as leader of the terrorist group that killed 202 civilians in the Bali nightclub bombing. 88 of the 202 victims were Australians.

Bashir will now spend 25.5 months in prison.

That's about 765 days.

That's 3.8 days per victim.

Indonesia routinely sentences drug dealers to death by firing squad.
