The problem with having a topical blog.....

...is that when your host crashes by the time you can post it's too late.

My backup server is up again!!

It's a conspiracy I tells you. First, my primary server goes down. Then my backup at this site goes down--all on the same day!!!

Who do I blame? George W. Bush. How could he have taken his eye off UBL, this was obviously and al Qaeda plot? How could he have misled the nation to war with Saddam Hussein knowing full well that there was no Saddam-Hussein-Jawa Report connection? How could he have let 40 tons of information on these servers go unprotected as terrorists hacked them? How could he have lost millions of jobs to evil oversees corporations, which is probably why these servers went down?

*Sigh* If today is not October 27th then my new server is probably up. I know evil George Bush doesn't want you to go there, but won't you come visit me at The Jawa Report's new digs?

Yes, my new server is down and yes I have a backup site!! (Link Drop Edition)

If you're reading this then you're one of the 15 people left on earth who even know I have a backup site. Or, you're one of the dozen or so people who come here daily from a Google search or an old link from another blogger. It's 11:20 AM CDT on Oct. 21st. If today is not Oct. 21st, why not come over to MY NEW SITE HERE? The server will probably be back up later today or by tomorrow at the latest.

So, what is up in the blogosphere today? One of the cool things about being a "Playful Primate" in the TTLB Ecosystem is a lot of bloggers write you asking for a link in one way or another. Sometimes it's a news story that they know you'd be interested in, at other times it's a plea to help some charity, and occasionally it's just someone who thinks they wrote a cool piece. Here's a hint for all you Ecosystem climbers out there: when somebody asks you for a link, give it to them!

I remember the first time the Commissar linked me, I was so excited! Then, when Allah dropped my name--whoa, I thought I was in heaven. So, a note to big bloggers: give the little guys a shot! And when other bloggers, say ones who are not smaller than you on the hierarchy set by NZ Bear, ask for a link--give it to them. Someday, you may want a favor done for you!

Ok, so here's some linkage for today. Hey, if you can't read the Jawa report, might as well read these guys. I mean, what else are you going to do--work??

Kerry to win race, or so says children's TV network Nickelodian which has been 100% accurate in the past 4 elections.

Nuke the Whales!!

Group Promising Flu Shots for Votes Criticized--Not that J-Dog needs the linkage, but it's a cool story

Kevin McCullough is sponsoring the "Carnival of the Cheesy Kerry Red Sox Quote" You too can predict what drivel will come out of Ketchup boy's mouth.

Here's a link for Big Dick's penis Thor, possibly the only male appendage on earth who remembered the backup site!!

Is Osama bin Laden in China? Go visit Simon to find out....er, of course, Simon and I use the same server so that might be a bit of a problem!!

Jason Smith explains why he is voting for Bush. Dude, you had me at "best defense is a good offense".

Ha Ha, "When Judging People by the Company they keep Goes Bad"

Allah is back, I was actually going to revive my Allahpundit parody site. Don't leave us shahids hanging, biyatch!! I think the pic is some sort of jab at former INXS singer Michael Hutchence or something.

Kevin Aylward's interview with John O'Neill is up. He sees John Hawkins' previous Swiftie interview and raises the stakes by scoring some face-time with the head honcho!

Ace notes an AP story which describes OBL as "just another agrarian reformer" . Note: Ace also shares server space with the Jawa Report, I read that through my bloglines reader, so you might not be able to access his site right now.

Over at blogchild Memento Moron's place he has a great piece on "Fame as Argument". If we can just get the Redhead Who Will Be Feared to let him out of the house to see TAWP, he'll see why acting is the world's most important profession.

This one is so funny, I only wish the Jawa Report was up so I could link it!! Man that Cranky Neocon is one smoothe criminal.

The elusive woman voter...hey, if anybody really understood them we wouldn't let them vote Dean!!!

John Donovan has a great link to a Tommy Franks fisking of John Kerry.

I thought I was the only one in America who hated Soros. Who'd a thunk it?

This is the time at the Flea when we dance on the bows of nuclear submarines. Would you like to pet Flea's monkey as he hurls feces in your liberal direction?

*shock* John Henke endorses Bush!! NOT. But seriously John, WTF?? You can't be serious.

Another shocker, Johnny Walker Red endorses a Republican candidate. This time I'm serously.

Good News from Iraq.

TAWP not coming to Korea? Say it isn't so!!

There's good naked, there's bad naked, and then there's oh my Lord my eyes, they burn naked.

If you haven't read the Commissar's show trials yet, you should. I bet he freaks when he gets a trackback ping from the old site. Oh, and since no one is going to read this post anyway. Commie, about that situation we talked about--it's mostly fixed. I say mostly because, as you can see, I left this blog up--but the Ecosystem allows for a backup. I also left up a few of the other ones, (like Hot Iraqi Chick and Allahpundit--humor reasons--and a couple of others--Google reasons) but I took out the sitemeter from them and will try to take them out of Ecosystem soon. However, if NZ Bear follows through with his threats about displaying the Ecosystem, then the point might become moot.

Ok, I'll leave you with one last image, courtesy of this post at No Pasaran! Now, what were you saying about no WMD? Yeah, there couldn't be any WMD in Iraq I tells ya!!!!!

Kenneth Bigley Beheading Video, hostege murdered in cold blood

Kenneth Bigley is confirmed dead in Iraq. Multiple sources indicate that Kenneth Bigley was executed by Musab al-Zarqawi's Tawid and Jihad terrorist organization near Baghdad today. Conflicting stories, as the news is still developing, some indicating that Kenneth Bigley was beheaded and that a beheading video will be relesed soon. May God have mercy on Bigley's soul and speed him to rest, and may God open up the heavens and rain down wrath on his murderers.

The news is still developing. For updates, information, images, and links to video please go to my MAIN PAGE HERE or to the 10/08 update post by CLICKING HERE.

Sitemeter

The thing about losing your site for awhile, is that the sitemeter inevitably falls to close to zero. So, I'm wondering if anyone even remember this old site? If you are reading this, please e-mail me at mypetjawa@yahoo.com. Thank you.

Pic of Rescued Hostage

Army Images via Blogs of War:

Yaltchin Kaya, a Turkish driver held hostage for 10 days, greets 1st Lt. Jason Royston of 9th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, moments after being rescued by Soldiers and Iraqi National Guardsmen during house-to-house searches in Samarra.
I couldn't resist posting, even if it is at the old site.

Host Down, posting at the backup site

For the first time in months my blog host, mu.nu, is down. Hey, you get what you pay for. Actually, Pixy Misa gets what he pays for. Believe it or not Pixy Misa is such a cool guy that he actually foots the bill for over a hundred bloggers!! What a guy.

Wow, I've forgotten what it was like over. Using Blogger to post is so much easier than MT. MT has it's advantages, but Blogger keeps upgrading and getting better and better. Anyway, just a quick post to tell y'all that I think my new site will be up in a matter of hours, not days.

You can e-mail me at mypetjawa@yahoo.com or mypetjawa@gmail.com.
